Looking for junior System Administrator / Networking
I specialize in expanding my technical skills, currently focusing on IT infrastructure, Linux administration, virtualization, networking, cloud technologies, and technical support. I enjoy hands-on learning through building reliable systems, troubleshooting technical problems, and continuously deepening my understanding of modern infrastructure technologies.
About Me
I'm an IT Support Specialist based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with over two years of hands-on experience keeping systems, networks, and end users running smoothly. I'm also finishing up my Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems at SETEC Institute.
While my official title is IT Support, I proactively take the initiative to propose and execute server and infrastructure improvements. For example, I proposed, configured, and deployed Linux-based solutions like Snipe-IT asset management and IPAM on Ubuntu Server in a live production environment. I also manage Windows Active Directory—joining computers to domains, creating GPOs (like enforcing corporate desktop backgrounds), and setting up File Server Resource Manager policies to restrict unsafe file extensions.
Alongside infrastructure projects, I handle day-to-day hardware maintenance, UniFi and MikroTik network gear, CCTV installations, and WordPress sites. Currently, I'm expanding into AWS cloud infrastructure, Linux administration, and infrastructure automation to continue building stable, secure systems.

Rothana is the person we call first when something breaks. Calm under pressure and always thorough with the fix.
Reliable, patient with end users, and genuinely curious about how systems work under the hood.
Set up our network from scratch and documented everything clearly. Made handover painless.

As part of my IT infrastructure learning journey, I started learning about VMware ESXi and VMware vCenter Server. Virtualization is an important technology in modern IT infrastructure because it allows organizations to run multiple virtual machines on a physical server. Instead of dedicating one physical server to every application or server
